You've heard of One View Watchlists, right? Pretty cool, pretty easy: you create a query over a grid, the query returns some number of rows, and the count of those rows shows up on the EnterpriseOne user interface as a badge or a flag. Simple enough. But, what if that number could come from the output of an orchestration? What if that number didn't even have to be just a number? What if the visualization itself didn't have to be just a badge? Maybe a bar chart or a pie chart? Think of the possibilities. Introducing EnterpriseOne widgets! Come to this session to see how easy and powerful this latest enhancement to the JD Edwards digital platform can be. Bet you can't stop fidgeting.

Turner's Pipe Fabrication facilities were manually tracking employee attendance in three offline systems. From corrupt spreadsheets to individual employee files which resulted in a cumbersome process that consumed valuable hours of HR clerical time each day. This inefficiency not only hindered the aggregation of historical employee data but also made it nearly impossible to provide timely notifications to foremen and employees regarding attendance issues.

To address these challenges, Turner implemented a custom application within the E1 system that streamlined the tracking of absences, late arrivals, early departures, and other relevant events. This custom application also allowed for automated reports and notifications via ReportsNow, significantly enhancing the efficiency of the attendance management process. By centralizing data and automating notifications, the application reduced the HR clerical workload by an impressive 40%, freeing up time for more strategic HR initiatives.

Additionally, the implementation of this application across all facilities has fostered consistency and improved communication regarding attendance management. With all locations utilizing the same E1 application, Turner has not only improved operational efficiency but also created a more cohesive work environment.
