Tyndale contracted to do distribution fulfillment for a partner company. We needed to setup a new line of products – that is not considered our inventory, be ready to take sales orders and payments from customers both manually and via our Website integrated in with our own products. However, the Sales for these items would not be treated as Revenue but would fall into “other income” and we would pay back a percentage of sales as a fee to the partner.
This required us to creatively solution a new Procurement, Inventory and Receiving process - without changing the steps the warehouse crew had to follow! Then had to redirect the sales revenue to be Other income – behind the scenes. And Oh – we needed it all up and running in 12 weeks!
