Organizations face a lot of different issues today. Sometimes, however, issues can hide in plain sight and look like something completely different. In this session, we are going to focus on identifying the symptoms of an INVENTORY MANAGEMENT problem that could be hiding as a procurement issue, an equipment issue, or a process issue. We will dive into root causes of inventory management problems both from inside and outside the four walls.

UX One Pages and UX One Object Cross References can be thought of as pre-built UDO bundled gifts from Oracle. These are free for JDE customers to download and use, but many customers haven’t yet taken advantage of these whether in whole pages or in parts (single objects on your own composed pages). Come to this session to see how to review the objects that are available, how to modify them to fit your data, how to manage them in the UDO Workbench, and finally how to use them on your own Composed Pages.

Manual production reporting and outdated methods of weighing parts in JDE led to inconsistencies, inaccurate data, and system-wide disruptions. The reliance on additional hardware, servers, and a fragile reporting chain caused costly delays whenever issues arose.
Discover how MacLean-Fogg leveraged orchestrations and a custom application to revolutionize production reporting. This innovative solution eliminated inaccuracies, enabled location autonomy, and reduced reliance on costly equipment and redundant software, saving thousands while delivering faster, more accurate reporting across the corporation.

Turner's Pipe Fabrication facilities were manually tracking employee attendance in three offline systems. From corrupt spreadsheets to individual employee files which resulted in a cumbersome process that consumed valuable hours of HR clerical time each day. This inefficiency not only hindered the aggregation of historical employee data but also made it nearly impossible to provide timely notifications to foremen and employees regarding attendance issues.
To address these challenges, Turner implemented a custom application within the E1 system that streamlined the tracking of absences, late arrivals, early departures, and other relevant events. This custom application also allowed for automated reports and notifications via ReportsNow, significantly enhancing the efficiency of the attendance management process. By centralizing data and automating notifications, the application reduced the HR clerical workload by an impressive 40%, freeing up time for more strategic HR initiatives.
Additionally, the implementation of this application across all facilities has fostered consistency and improved communication regarding attendance management. With all locations utilizing the same E1 application, Turner has not only improved operational efficiency but also created a more cohesive work environment.
