Session Abstract:

Application Integration is a crucial component to any successful implementation. Gartner reported that from 2020 “Integration work will account for 50% of the time and cost of building a digital platform”. A considerable statistic!

Oracle Integration Cloud is a proven, mature product allowing adopters to integrate faster and more easily. It provides acceleration opportunities out-of-the-box in the offering of pre-integrated connectivity to Oracle & 3rd Party SaaS, PaaS and on-premises applications with >80 pre-built enterprise-grade adapters and predefined integration templates.

But, is it really that simple? Can you subscribe to OIC and integrate all your applications with a flick of a switch or a click or a button? … not really!

This session aims to provide an overview of OIC and the key aspects of what you ought to be considering throughout design, delivery & maintenance.

Speaker Bio:

Amy began her career with Capgemini UK over 10 years ago, in 2012, as a Degree Apprentice. She graduated from Aston university as a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honors in 2017 and heads up the Oracle PaaS Capability at Capgemini UK. Her role is focused on the transformation of her client’s technical landscape to better leverage existing tools and the implementation of new technologies and solutions.

Amy is recently appointed as an Oracle ACE Associate and is passionate about technology, early careers and WomenInTech.
