Database backups are a critical IT function and some organizations consider backing up their on-premises databases to the cloud, as a cheap offline/off-site/secure backup option. This presentation explores how to back up an on-premises Oracle Database to cloud storage services provided by Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure. Approach, performance, and cost are compared.
