What is Selective Adoption?
Selective Adoption refers to the ability to independently apply PeopleSoft features and fixes rather than performing entire upgrades or applying bundles of fixes. Selective Adoption became available with PeopleSoft release 9.2.
With Selective Adoption, PeopleSoft customers can monitor what has been delivered and then update their environments based on the strategy that works best for them. With the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), customers can explore and select changes to adopt based on their company’s specific needs.
