Nassyam was awarded the SELECT Journal Editor’s Choice Award, which is awarded by the SELECT Editorial Board to a SELECT Journal author for their excellence in writing a technical article in SELECT Journal.

2020 Distinguished Service Award Winner: Nassyam Basha

Tell us a little about your company.

eProseed is an Oracle Platinum Partner with in-depth expertise in Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) and Oracle Hardware including Oracle Engineered Systems. We solve hard problems with innovation and experience. We offer award-winning services and solutions at business and technical levels using high-maturity practices and with guaranteed results. We deliver Oracle’s Technology excellence with faster ROI and lower risk and TCO.

What is your job title and what do you do in your role?

I have worked as a DBA Expert with eProseed for two years and serve major banking and ministry customers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I’m specialized primarily in Oracle Database and helped many Ministry of Saudi Arabian customers in implementing high availability solutions, end to end Oracle stack encryption and Exadata implementations, etc. Also, I was involved in the eProseed internal project to migrate all our infra to the Oracle Cloud.

What Oracle product do you use and what do you like most about it?

Oracle Database, MSSQL Server, Golden Gate, Ansible, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Management Cloud. All MAA solutions.

How long have you been involved with Quest?

Two or three years.

How have you benefit from being part of Quest Oracle Community?

Quest is generating many articles and content to the community about emerging technologies, which helps the IT professionals who are looking to transform their careers.

What’s one interesting fact about you?

Entering an IT career was a horrible path for me. At one stage, I have a question for me: “Will I come to any IT company, or will I get even a small job in IT?” Before entering into IT, I used to export the shrimps to another city, which is utterly irrelevant to me who is postgraduate in the computer, but my motto was “No need to shame, I’m not cheating nor snatching from anyone.”

Fortunately, my career transformed very aggressively, and now my name is searchable in Google with more than eight or nine pages. Also, I’ve been honored with many credentials, awards, titles, author of books, wrote 90+ articles, and contributed many Oracle related spaces and also guiding many newbies to chose the career destination/path wisely.

Do you have any children or pets?

Yes, I have one daughter, Yashfeen Fathima, who is five years old and currently studying Upper Kindergarten.
