RV’s Strategy Spotlight

HCM Image 42 is now generally available.  It includes new Analytic Dashboards for Managers, Global Payroll, and Time & Attendance Administrators.  As your organization works through the process of employees returning to work locations, your managers can use the new Remote Worker Analytics Dashboard to view a breakdown of the remote work status of their team members,.  Also available in Image 42 is a new Calendar feature that provides employees a one-page view of their peers’ absences, schedules, holidays, work anniversaries, and birthdays.  Take a look at the Image Highlights Image 42 video for an overview of the major features available.

Now is the time to make plans for attending Blueprint 4D either in person or virtually.  We would love to see everyone in person in Las Vegas, however, we understand that some of you are not yet able to travel which is why I want to draw your attention to the different registration options available to you.  The best option by far is the Corporate Pass – for one price you may have as many people as you want from your organization attend Blueprint 4D virtually, which includes access to all the keynote presentations, 20+ Oracle roadmap and updates, hot-topic sessions, and 150+ sessions across PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle Database & Technology.  Looking forward to connecting with you in June either in person or virtually!

  • Job Data Working Group – We shared recently delivered Fluid Job Data enhancements, discussed correction mode changes in Fluid Job (vs. Classic) and answered customer questions.
  • Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – The team has finished the design walkthrough with the focus group and development has started on the Fluidization of MSS functions.  We also reviewed the need for enhancements and use cases for the pre-requisite and equivalency sections in programs during this month’s call.
  • Performance Management – The focus group did not meet this month, but the development team has been busy working on the fluidization of the Performance Document.  We will be showing the new functionality and more information at the Blueprint 4D conference in June.
  • HR HelpDesk – Focus group met to review the conceptual design flow for ‘Approvals for Solution Management’, and we will be meeting again on April 21 to gather requirements for Solution Effectiveness Analytics features
  • Global Payroll – We met to discuss the Element Trace Viewer, and we received very positive feedback from customers about the new feature.
  • Time and Labor –. The focus group met to review the designs for the Employee Scheduling feature, including the ability for an employee to ask for a replacement for their schedule, as well as to swap their schedule with someone else.
  • Absence Management – The focus group did not meet this month, but we are planning to meet in April to review the Absence Forecasting feature changes, including changes to what is presented to users as a result of the forecasting process.
  • Page and Field Configurator – The focus Group met to review a prototype of the new Track Changes feature. This enhancement would allow customers to track changes to specific fields on specific pages using criteria defined by your organization.
  • Accessibility with PeopleSoft HCM – The group reviewed and confirmed PeopleSoft’s proposed approach for handling a variety of accessibility issues impacting employee self-service.  We also discussed the available options and challenges with supporting accessible reports in PeopleSoft.  The next focus group is scheduled for May 17th and will be based on accessibility topics that are top of mind for focus group members.

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.
