The JD Edwards Forum at BLUEPRINT 4D takes place online and in Las Vegas June 6th – 9th, 2022. In this blog series, we interview key speakers and learn what they’re most looking forward to as the Quest community prepares to gather for its first in-person event in over two years.
We caught up recently with Clayton Seeley, Oracle Technical Architect, who shared his thoughts on JDE at BLUEPRINT 4D:
Tell us a little bit about what you’ll be sharing in your upcoming BLUEPRINT 4D presentation?
At Blueprint 4D this year, I’ll be providing updates on everything related to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne System Automation and Administration. We have done a significant amount of enhancements with Release 22 (and before) that simplify and automate administration tasks and provide lower total cost of owner of running and maintaining JDE. I can’t wait to show off all the hard work our product development team has done.
Which hot topics are you looking forward to digging into with JDE customers?
We have many hot topics that I look forward to digging into in person at Blueprint 4D this year. Tops on my mind are finding a way to maintain a code current strategy and improvements and plans we have with our JDE Upgrade Manager. In addition, making sure customers understand how to get JDE through the 64-bit migration is going to be fun to discuss and demystify.
What most excites you about the new JD Edwards Forum at BLUEPRINT 4D event?
Oh, for sure the most exciting thing about the Blueprint 4D event I am looking forward to is seeing and meeting everyone face to face again. It has been a long 2 years and I can’t wait to get back to the JDE ecosystem and hear how we can continue to further help and improve the product and how customers are using our latest features we’ve provided.
