Quest's 25th Anniversary: A Letter from Our CEO

A note from Jon Vaughn, Quest Oracle Community CEO

To our valued members:

In 1995, Quest was founded as a JD Edwards users group, with a vision of helping users collaborate with each other to learn, help, connect, and share. Over the past 25 years, Quest has remained nimble as it flexed to meet the evolving needs of our membersultimately expanding to include support for more than 65,000 users of PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Commerce, and Oracle Database & Technology products. As a result, to this day and even in the most chaotic of times, Quest continues to serve as a catalyst in maximizing our members business investments through the power of our community, tools, and experiences.

The Quest mission has always been to allow individuals and companies to solve business problems and derive value through their Oracle and related investments by facilitating the best education, networking, and advocacy. Over the life of Quest, this organization and its members have seen many ups and downs. Our mission has never been more important as 2020 has no doubt asked much of all of us.  Through it all, Quest remains committed to the continued delivery of exceptional education and programming despite this year’s adversities and challenges to our delivery model.

In celebration of Quest’s 25th anniversary, we are pleased to announce several compelling additions to our members-only programming and we hope you’ll celebrate with us.

  • We are excited to welcome Chris Laping, best-selling author and CIO, to the annual Meeting of the Members on Tuesday, November 10th at 4 pm ET.Lauded for his leadership by The Economist, Wall Street Journal, and Fast Company, Chris has engaged companies with disruptive ideas on innovation and transformation for more than three decades. In this exclusive members-only session, Chris will share his insights on Inspiring Crazy Loyalty within today’s technology organizations and how IT leaders and engineers must make a fundamental mind shift to evolve their role and become transformative change leaders.
  • Also, mark your calendars for a free week of digital learning at Quest Experience Week, December 7-11th which offers something for everyone from strategic insights to simple ‘how-to’ sessions, customer case studies, and best practices for users of all levels.
  • And, keep your eyes open in 2021 for more deep-dive workshop series that build on the success of our recently enhanced digital programming and conferences.

Last but not least, we’d like to thank you, our members, who make Quest the vibrant community that it is and who have expanded our vision and as a result enabled our growth as we strive to meet the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s Oracle users.

Kind regards,

Jon
