Driving Efficiency into Selective Adoption (or how to stop PUM updates from feeling like a full upgrade)

PeopleSoft release 9.2 introduced a major change in the way that the system is kept up to date and extended with new functionality. The promise was greatly reduced effort and much more timely updates. Many organizations have not seen the benefits they expected. Mostly, this is driven from a view that PUM updates are mini upgrades, and the Selective Adoption message and process is not coming through. This webinar will focus on the full process of Selective Adoption (of which PUM updates are only a part) and provide strategies that will allow the update process to become more efficient through scheduling, planning, use of automated testing, and development strategies to minimize the impact of customizations. We will include thoughts around governance also. This should provide a strong structure to put in place that will drive down the effort involved in applying updates and will increase your internal users satisfaction with the system.

Speakers: William Cage (Bill), Saad Mohammed, and Vishal Kothari, ERPA
