Guided Self-Service (GSS) framework in PeopleSoft HCM provides a powerful tool to automate the administration of Personnel Action Requests of your workforce. This automation can eliminate the manual processes and outdated paper forms used by managers and HR Administrators that result in delayed and erroneous data entry. Using GSS, Managers can request Personnel Actions such as Transfer, Promotion, Reporting change etc. for their direct and indirect reports using a simple and intuitive process. Requests can be routed thru a workflow approvals and reach HR Administrators for review and action. Reviewed requests can automatically update employee’s Position and Job data records taking away the manual workload from administrators.
