Revisit MRP / CRP in the Wake of Enterprise One 9.2

Business requirement to Standardize the Structures of BOMs and Routers to gain visibility for Planning of Manufactured parts and gain insight into Labor planning including Annual Budgeting. Revisited and leveraged the basic functionality of MRP / CRP in a live environment across Multiple Facilities.

-Developed a Proof of Concept with a Work around for Additional Work Centers on Routers w no impact to Product Cost and Acctg.

-Deployed the Solution for a Product Family as a Pilot along with a roll out plan for other Product Family

-This project involved 4 facilities across the globe in different time zone and touched multiple business functions including ( Product Configuration, Quality, Regulatory, Cost Accounting, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Manufacturing Operations etc).

-Standardizing multi-layered BOM structure across multiple Manufacturing facilities using the same Part numbers.

-Flexibility of simulating Labor hours for planning purposes without impacting the Product Costing and accounting of WOs in the existing Products. To achieve this a work around was utilized

-Use the Variable lead time Concept on Fix Order Quantity items along with One View Application from Enterprise one 9.2 and Advanced Query to help facilitate scheduling activities at the Work Centers by operations on Work orders
