Exadata has become one of the most popular Database machine recently and I have seen a lot of Exadata customer trying to Implement Exadata themselves. Customers have many reasons to implement Exadata by themselves but most of the time its money, they think it’s too expensive to hire a True Exadata Consultant. It’s important to understand that there is a different between Exadata Migration and Exadata Implementation and If you don’t have skills to implement Exadata in-house, most like your will end up just doing a data migration. Not only, you will not achieve extreme performance from your Exadata Machine, you will not get good return on your investment due to higher utilization of Hardware Resources.
