During Quest Forum Digital Event: Innovation Week, Lyle Ekdahl, Senior Vice President of Product Development at Oracle, presented on how to reimagine your business model in an age of digital transformation. In today’s world, you have to rethink the way you use JD Edwards applications, embrace a new user experience, and automate your business processes. Ekdahl’s keynote took a look at how customers are using the JD Edwards digital platform to transform and reimagine their businesses.

During Quest Forum Digital Event: Innovation Week, Robert Monahan and Gary Grieshaber presented a product update and JD Edwards roadmap.

Quest had a chance to speak with Andrea Baron, CIO at Capex, and Sebastian Ruiz, Applications Manager at Capex, about the company’s upgrade to 9.2, their process, and benefits from the upgrade.

As part of Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, Oracle's own Nick Velharticky and Kirk Harris spoke about the Simplified Diagnostics Collector for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The Simplified Diagnostics Collector (Collect and Generate Diagnostics) provides a simple interface to efficiently and automatically collect diagnostic data and system information using Server Manager. You have the flexibility to collect data pertaining to Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, HTML Server, and Server Manager Console. The Simplified Diagnostics Collector is now available with Tools Release 9.2.3.4.

Quest recently spoke with Derek D’Alessandro, Vice President of IT at Holiday Retirement, about the company’s upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 and their move to OCI.

As part of Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, Steve McClure, Applications Manager for Weitz Company, spoke about the company's journey through applying the latest Electronic Software Updates (ESUs) and becoming code current after its upgrade to EnterpriseOne 9.2 in 2017. With Oracle’s shift towards a rapid release model for 9.2 instead of major release upgrades, companies committed to EnterpriseOne will need to go through this kind of exercise at least once every twelve to eighteen months. Doing this sort of assessment, whether a company proceeds with the updates or not, is what continuous delivery is all about.
