The Continuous Innovation Delivery Model is a paradigm under which Oracle will deliver new functionality for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in short cycles which are faster and more frequent to reduce the cost, time , and risk of delivering changes by allowing for incremental updates as opposed to as updates to the existing release. Customers will no longer be required to perform a full release upgrade to access new features and functions and can apply fixes and updates in the current release.

In this session we will review the rational for this new delivery model, the issues it addresses, the challenges and also the recommendations, guidelines and tools for customers to maintain their JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment going forward. Specific attention will be directed towards the adaptations for the Functional, Development and Technology teams and how best to evaluate, implement, test and deploy these updates.

With more people working remotely in 2020 due to the global pandemic, ransomware attacks have increased 715% year over year. Ransomware - a type of malicious software or malware that prohibits you from accessing files, apps, and/or networks unless you pay a handsome ransom - is on the rise and getting more dangerous. It’s important to effectively combat ransomware before it happens to your enterprise, so your business is not shut down. With hackers becoming more sophisticated and targeted, how do you protect yourself from a ransomware attack? If ransomware DOES strike you, how do you respond? What steps are required to recover from the attack, and what JDE-specific actions are needed afterwards?
