The Oracle Critical Patch Update (CPU) for January 2020 was released on January 14, 2020. Oracle strongly recommends applying the patches as soon as possible.

Jeff Erickson, Senior Director of Product Management for JD Edwards Applications, gave an overview of what is new in the latest JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools update. 

As part of Quest's JD Edwards Orchestrator Week 2019, Dan Holverson, Director of IT at Clayton County Water Authority, spoke about how CCWA leveraged Orchestrator to automate integrations, requisition release, and PO processing. 

Linda Peel, Industry Lead for Consumer Goods and Retail, spoke about Oracle capabilities that can help Consumer Goods companies generate and evaluate forecasts, provide a base volume that shows trend and seasonality impacts, and evaluate each element of the trade spend across price, merchandising, special store placement, consumer incentives, etc. 

David Greiner, Principal Product Manager for Oracle JD Edwards Manufacturing, recently spoke about manufacturing activity rules functionality and demonstrated the added capability to write and review history records in the new Work Order Master, Parts List, and Routing Ledger tables. New fields have been added to the recently delivered Work Order Activity Rules for manufacturing to trigger entries into ledger tables at selected statuses when work order records are added, changed, or deleted. This new Work Order Ledger feature simplifies tracking of work order changes (header, parts list, or routing) to satisfy auditing or regulatory requirements.

Quest recently spoke with Neeraj Korepal, General Manager -Corporate IT, at Neterwala Group of Companies, about the company’s Lift and Shift from on-premise to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
