  • Congratulations to Sarasota Memorial Health Care System implemented the PeopleSoft fluid project request feature, replacing their paper-based capital project request form. They used PeopleSoft Page and Field Configurator and event mapping utilities to tailor and extend functionality to meet the unique needs of the organization. In addition, project costing Insights were deployed providing project administrators flexible budget to actual reporting.

  Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • AR and Billing – The focus group met in October to review and provide feedback on improvements to deposits and payments pages.  Other topics covered were Payments Insights and considering AR and GL open period setup options for Billing.
  • Supplier Admin – The focus group will meet in December to discuss customer requirements for internal users that manage and maintains suppliers.
  • Match Exceptions – The focus group will meet November 18 to discuss customer requirements for the Match Exceptions for procurement users.
  • Accessibility – Focus group met to discuss options around Reflow for fluid transactions in PeopleSoft.
  • NEW FOCUS GROUP – Discuss an Off-Boarding process for FSCM, if you are interested contact Tina.Thames@oracle.com to join this focus group.

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, free to join; calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes. Click on the link above for a list of focus group and who to contact.

  • Expenses: Provide a New Search Capability for Proxy Users Who Create Travel Auths on Behalf of Their Proxy User List
  • Expenses: Add Deny and Send-back action buttons on the Modify Approved Transaction page that was lost after 8.8 GA.
  •  Mobile Inventory Management: Flag receipts to indicate an ASN was previously generated for Mobile Inventory users.
  • Purchasing – Added the Fluid Procurement WorkCenter, allowing users to efficiently access the most frequently used Procurement components. This WorkCenter includes grouplets for My Work, Links, Queries, Reports & Processes, My Approvals, and My Insights.
  • Supplier Contract Management – Enhanced Supplier Contract Management by adding Insights Dashboard that will highlight documents needing attention, compliance with service level agreements, and monitoring of pending action items and potential bottlenecks in the document approval process. This information will help users identify areas of concern and take the necessary action.
  • General Ledger – The journal upload spreadsheet has been consolidated to one workbook that includes the macros and log files. This allows for use on OneDrive and simplifies the distribution process to users. Additional enhancements include Favorite Sheets and sheet in alphabetical order.
  • General Ledger – The Work Management framework has been added to the fluid General Ledger WorkCenter.
  • Accounts Payable – The voucher upload spreadsheet has been consolidated to one workbook that includes the log files. This allows for use on OneDrive.
  • Accounts Payable – Pay Cycle Approvals are now available in AWE for use with Fluid Approvals.
  • Accounts Payable – Pressure seal forms for 1099-MISC, 1099-NEC and 1099-INT are now an option for 1099 output.
  • Accounts Payable – A new Match Exceptions Insights Dashboard is available.
