Many of you saw our recent note that the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is open to vendors—and the response was encouraging. It’s worth reinforcing why this is resonating.
The ELP is designed to develop professionals who can think strategically, communicate business value, and lead in complex environments. For vendors, that translates to stronger client relationships, more effective conversations, and greater impact across your organization.
We’re seeing vendors use the program to:
- Develop high-potential consultants and account managers
- Strengthen the ability to connect technology to business outcomes
- Prepare team members for broader leadership roles within their organization
- Support individuals working through major customer initiatives
- Build and strengthen customer relationships that extends beyond any single project or sales cycle
While many initially think of client-facing roles, we’re increasingly seeing value for technical and functional experts who are ready to grow beyond execution and into broader leadership—within their teams, their organizations, and in how they engage with customers.
Just as important, participants build meaningful relationships across the Quest community. These aren’t transactional interactions, they’re connections formed around shared learning and growth, often with decision-makers inside customer organizations.
Ways to Engage (Based on Your Objectives)
Organizations are engaging with ELP in different ways depending on what they’re trying to accomplish:
- Develop your team
Enroll high-potential employees—whether client-facing or in technical/functional roles—to accelerate their leadership growth and effectiveness. - Strengthen customer relationships
Sponsor a customer participant as part of their development—creating goodwill while supporting their long-term success. - Increase visibility and impact in the community
Sponsor the program to align your brand with leadership development and build meaningful connections across the ecosystem. The current cohort and stakeholders (alumni, managers of participants, mentors, program contributors, etc.) now include more than 100 of Quest’s top community influencers.
Who should you consider sending?
High-potential team members who are ready to expand their influence, take on greater responsibility, and grow into broader leadership roles.
“The ELP program gave me a deeper understanding of leadership, strengthened my confidence in building meaningful relationships, and challenged me to think beyond technology to focus on business value and community impact.”
