Strategy Spotlight – We are happy to announce the general availability of PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) image 23 and HR Help Desk image 21, both of which are delivered on PeopleTools 8.60. ELM image 23 features Learning Insights Dashboards, Fluid Learner Manager Self Service, and Fluid Learning Plans and Objectives. There are 4 new Learning Insights Dashboards that allow managers and administrators to gain better visibility into employees’ learning progress and history for mandatory learning, voluntary learning, certifications, and upcoming expiration dates. HR Help Desk image 21 includes a Solutions Management Insights Dashboard which allows HR Specialists to gain insights into how effective their posted solutions have been for frequently asked questions. Image 21 also includes the approval workflow engine that allows customers to define an approval flow for any solutions to be posted.
Customers should also note that the image delivery schedule for next year is now available here. For HCM we are expecting to deliver 3 releases: January, May, and September 2024.

Focus Group Updates: Click on the link to find a focus group to join
- Human Resources – Focus group saw a demo of the Fluid Personal Data (soon to be released)
- Benefits – Focus Group met in July to continue more conversations about SECURE 2.0 and especially Section 603 compliance. A Quest Webinar has been scheduled for all interested customers on SECURE 2.0 for August 15th at 2:00 pm Eastern. The session will be recorded. Please use this link to register
- PeopleSoft Insights Workgroup – Customers saw a cool Insights demo from GATX and Andersen Corporation
- Performance Management – the focus group will meet again on August 9th and will be looking at the new recognition features that is currently in development. We will also be reviewing any questions the group has about fluid performance and fluid business objectives.
- Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – ELM Image 23 was released on July 28th. With this release comes much anticipated features such as fluidizing of manager self-service, learning insights, and the completion of fluid plans and objectives for learner self-service. The ELM focus group continues to meet monthly and has started reviewing requirements for mandatory programs.
- Absence Management – Focus group meeting on August 31st to discuss the Team Calendars for Administrators, Delegates, and Matrix Teams.
- Time & Labor – Focus group is meeting on August 30th to review the Direct Reports Fluid Time Pages and discuss future enhancements
- Tuition Reimbursement – The inaugural meeting of this focus group happened in May. We will be bringing this working group together quarterly with the next scheduled meeting occurring on August 10th. We will review high level requirements and get feedback regarding approvals. - Accessibility – Shared with the focus group updates we made in PTools 8.61 for accessibility and future accessibility enhancements in PTools 8.62.
- HR Help Desk – The next focus group meeting will be August 24. We plan to review the high priority enhancements like Case Questionnaire and Post Case Survey for finalizing the scope for these features.
***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed. Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

- United States –The Department of Homeland Security just released the new version of the Form I-9, which organization have to use by October 31, 2023. We will be posting a position statement soon with the changes and estimated delivery of the update.
- United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617). It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans. Here is a link to the current Position Statement and the Planned Features and Enhancement Page which outlines our current roadmap.
- Singapore – The CPF board has published revised CPF rates and OW ceiling tables effective from 1st January 2024.
