For more than 25 years, the Quest Oracle Community has served the Oracle user community by bringing together JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and now Oracle Fusion Apps customers for connection and shared learning.
Over these many years Quest has worked to support local communities hosting Quest conferences through its Quest for Good program. Each year, Quest for Good supports worthy local organizations making a positive impact at the intersection of technology and underserved communities.
Most recently, Quest for Good has focused on creating opportunities for local schools to expose students and future technologists to career opportunities in the tech industry and specifically within the Oracle ecosystem. The program creates student learning opportunities by providing materials and support for challenging STEM projects and the opportunity for students to visit and participate in local Quest conferences like BLUEPRINT 4D and INFOCUS.
All contributions go directly to vetted charitable organizations that align to Quest’s Quest for Good mission and who meet Quest’s charitable contribution requirements.
“We feel very fortunate to be in a position to raise meaningful funds and to create opportunities for future technologists. We are overwhelmed by the generosity that has already been displayed by our partners, however, we are not surprised by the spirit that emits from members of this community. Members of our community seem to have always known they are part of something bigger than themselves and are always happy to pay it forward to others, including future generations.” Jon Vaughn, Quest CEO
Recent recipients of Quest for Good support include:
- St. Philip’s School and Community Center, Dallas, TX
- Haven for Hope, San Antonio, TX
- Clark County School District, Las Vegas, NV
Thanks to the generosity of donors like Syntax, Circular Edge, Mike Ward and many participating INFOCUS sponsors, Quest is pleased to announce that Quest for Good has surpassed its initial 2023 fundraising goal of $10,000 and is more than halfway to reaching its updated fundraising goal of $20,000.
“There is no better way to kick start our 20th anniversary celebration by leading the charge and supporting Quest for Good initiative. Circular Edge is here in existence because of our amazing team, loyal customer base and our invaluable Quest partnership for the last 20 years!”
