UX One is becoming increasingly popular in the world of JD Edwards. An improved user experience, the Alert-Analyze-Act paradigm design and the role-based content and UDOs make it easy for organizations to implement personalized content in their organizations.
Ervin Rhodes, Principal Product Manager, and Aparajeeta Deshpande, Director of Product Development, from Oracle spoke at INFOCUS 18 about the business and technical requirements for installing UX One Roles.
Business Requirements
- Define your goals
- Evaluate UX One roles, delivered Notifications and UDO types
- Decide if you want to create your own UDOs or use delivered content
- Decide what delivered content you will implement
- Identify Object Types that you will enable and use to build personalizations and configurations
Technical Requirements
- Upgrade to Applications Release 9.2 with Tools 9.2.1 or higher
- Set up AIS Server if you’re using analytic components, Notifications with Orchestrations, or Modernized User Interfaces (ADF Apps)
- Set up ADF Server if you’re using Orchestrator Studio or Modernized User Interfaces (ADF Apps)
- BI Publisher is not required
