Michael Adamson, Vice President of Global HR Operations at UST Global presented their Talent Management Transformation through Human-Centered Innovation recently. We were able to take away a few tips and tricks we’d like to share with others that are looking at an Oracle HCM Cloud with Taleo.
Seven Tips and Tricks
- Experience and observe the customer or employee experience you are presenting. Apply for a job within your company. If you haven’t been on-boarded for a long time, sit in on one. Look for the “pain points” where you can make changes.
- In order to achieve your strategic goals, you need to change your culture. Culture is one of the most important things to evaluate when transforming your company. Change the experience of your people.
- Use social media as a collaboration tool for the workplace. Opportunities are available through both public and private social groups.
- Apply what you have learned from the customer experience to your employee experience.
- Provide assets on a digital hub to your employees for training and knowledge. Examples include LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight, and Kadenze.
- Create a climate of innovation. Host outside speakers as part of conferences and seminars. Create challenges such as Hackathons to engage employees in creating new innovative solutions for the customer experience.
- Social media with its 24-hour communication window can be especially valuable to companies with international relationships.
