- It helps to know how Taleo handles user groups. There are three types of user groups in Taleo: hiring manager, recruiter and employee. They base user groups on locations.
- During master data integration from HCM to Taleo, companies will need to deactivate the organization in HCM and then run a process to deactivate the organization in Taleo. If that step is skipped, the organization will remain in an orphan status and clutter the structure.
- Taleo to HCM integration enables the following actions for a candidate/employee:
- Hire
- Rehire
- Global transfer
- Transfer
- Additional assignment/work relationship
During the Taleo to HCM integration, address validations and previous employment checks are conducted before the data is transferred to Core HCM.
