In order to get the most out of PeopleSoft’s continuous delivery of new features, functionality, and Fluid UI, AARP underwent an initiative to evaluate the current state of their PeopleSoft Application. This “Phase 0” Assessment approach involved a review of their current state HCM (Core HCM, Employee Self Service/Manager Self Service, Position Management, and Benefits) application usage and an inventory of their current state capability set across solutions. The initiative also involved a review and grouping of all current customizations, as well as a review to retain, remove, replace, reengineer, redesign, request, or reject the customizations to move towards a more vanilla and flexible PeopleSoft solution.
