Oracle’s introduction of Orchestrations has transformed how organizations streamline processes by reducing manual tasks and eliminating non-value-added activities. The challenge, however, lies in identifying which orchestrations deliver the greatest impact. This session explores how the Business Analyst team at MacLean-Fogg partnered across multiple plant locations to optimize distribution workflows using JD Edwards Orchestrator. Through a series of standard work training sessions, the team gathered direct user feedback and developed targeted orchestrations that minimize manual effort and enhance data accuracy. Key solutions include automating route and delivery updates by shipment number, enabling users to generate carton/container codes without IT intervention, and processing inbound EDI for specific document. These orchestrations empower end users, improve operational efficiency, and demonstrate a scalable approach to digital transformation.
