New JDE enhanced functionality for the distribution / manufacturing industry to standardize the use of User defined codes across a universal instance. The reduction of and proliferation of User defined codes that need to be identical in design yet meaningful by description and function by companies in the same instance.

Objectives

Understand the complexities and restrictions of the standard User defined codes schema.

Demonstrate the flexibility of a UDC system that incorporates the company number as part of the unique key on the table/file.

Demonstrate the positive impact to configuration of an increased UDC capacity.
