Generative AI is revolutionizing talent acquisition by automating two critical stages: resume parsing and interview scheduling. Unlike traditional keyword-based systems, GenAI models contextualize candidate skills, experiences, and career narratives to match applicants with job requirements more accurately and equitably submissions. Resume parsing transforms unstructured documents into structured profiles—extracting key data such as skills, education, and experience—and feeding these into a job-fit scoring model. Some systems further organize proficiency into tiers like Beginner, Intermediate, Competent, and Expert for clearer decision-making. Once top candidates are identified, GenAI-enabled platforms automatically coordinate interview scheduling based on availability, thus reducing administrative burden and speeding up the hiring process in Peoplesoft
