Effective supplier management is crucial for organizations striving to achieve regulatory compliance, improve procurement decision-making, and drive cost efficiencies. This presentation provides a practical guide to implementing Supplier Classification Tracking within PeopleSoft. Attendees will learn how to configure and utilize PeopleSoft’s supplier classification features to capture key attributes—such as ownership status, risk level, licensed or certifications, and strategic alignment—enhancing reporting capabilities and sourcing decision making. The planned Conditional Questions feature in PeopleSoft Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM) can be used to derive the Registration template for a Supplier and/or enhances data collection during supplier/bidder registration or profile updates. It allows administrators to define questions where subsequent questions appear based on responses to previous questions, creating a personalized and efficient experience for suppliers.
