LEXINGTON, Ky. — Quest Oracle Community and CommercePros, the Oracle Commerce Users Group, today announced their Boards of Directors have approved a definitive agreement for CommercePros to integrate with Quest. Under the friendly agreement, Quest will assume responsibility for providing content and services to CommercePros membership base.

This integration is the result of Quest’s strategic investments in digital infrastructure and diversified programming over the last decade, enabling Quest to seamlessly integrate CommercePros into its community of Oracle Cloud Applications, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and Oracle Database & Technology solutions users. The expanded community will offer members and their organizations unlimited access to experts in all five focus areas.

CommercePros members will benefit from extended member support, enhanced year-round benefits, increased staffing resources, expanded corporate resources and additional opportunities for speakers, sponsors and partners.

“The integration of the CommercePros user group with Quest is an exciting opportunity,” said Cullin Wible, Board Chairman, Quest Oracle Community. “This new partnership follows Quest’s recent integration of the Independent Oracle User Group (IOUG) into the community and continues to strategically expand existing Quest member benefits by bringing knowledge resources, networks and content together for all members. CommercePros serves an important segment of the Oracle ecosystem, and we look forward to welcoming them to the community.”

“This new community will bring enormous learning and networking opportunities for our members and their respective companies,” said David Lyle, CommercePros Chairman. “Quest is a leader in the Oracle community, and the integration will create a community able to meet our unique group needs while providing access to expanded knowledge, networking and education.”

Quest will integrate CommercePros into the organization as the Oracle Commerce Community. “CommercePros brings a new community of expert Oracle users to Quest. As the challenge of developing and supporting individual user groups grows, Quest continues to welcome new groups in a way that allows each to maintain its unique identity while protecting the valuable knowledge resources embodied by these organizations,” said Jon Vaughn, Quest CEO. “Quest’s flexible platform allows for a seamless, scalable transition and we look forward to welcoming CommercePros and its members.”

The Quest Oracle Community currently incorporates groups for Oracle Cloud Applications (including Cloud HCM, Cloud ERP, Cloud EPM, Cloud SCM and Cloud CX), JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and Oracle Database & Technology solutions. CommercePros supports users of ATG, Endeca and Oracle Commerce Cloud. The agreement is subject to CommercePros member approval and expected to close later this year.
