More than a decade ago, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) embarked on a journey to modernize the systems that enable the organization to deliver on its humanitarian mission. From a patchwork of function-specific systems, CRS assembled a team of subject matter experts from across business and IT, programming and management to design an integrated solution across human resources, finance, planning & budgeting and supply chain in Oracle Cloud. Undeterred by the pandemic that emerged in the weeks before the planned go-live, CRS stayed focused on its crawl-walk-run strategy to bring essential functionality to its global presence across more than 100 countries, followed by subsequent deployments to top-up functionality in additional countries. Since the initial go live in April 2020, and through significant shifts in foreign assistance and its operating model in 2025, CRS has been focused on continuous improvement, including through Oracle quarterly release opportunities, a focused solution assessment to identify and address pain points, judicious advancements in automation, and the implementation of Redwood across multiple functions. Join us as we share key takeaways and practical, everyday examples of both successes and challenges along the way, and how we are assessing the newest AI-enabled functionalities.
Oracle Fusion Agentic Applications represent the most significant architectural shift in enterprise software in a generation — a move from systems of record to systems of outcomes. Not copilots. Not assistants. Coordinated teams of specialized AI agents that reason, decide, and act inside your Fusion environment, natively, with full access to your data, policies, approval hierarchies, and governance framework — built inside Oracle AI Agent Studio, now available at no additional cost across ERP, SCM, HCM, and CX. This is no longer a roadmap promise. Since Release 26B, Oracle has shipped dozens of these applications into production: a Collectors Workspace that accelerates cash collection, a Claims Settlement Workspace that shifts exception-heavy settlement to intelligent execution, a Design-to-Source Workspace that cuts sourcing cost and cycle time, a Sales Command Center that flags renewal risk and drafts the response — and, as of this month, new HR agentic applications built to strengthen internal mobility and close skills gaps. The builder experience has matured just as fast: no-code, low-code, and pro-code development now sit in a single Fusion-native framework, inheriting the same security, governance, and audit trails by default. No separate runtime. No bolted-on compliance layer. This session examines what that means in practice — and puts the harder question on the table: if your software can now drive outcomes autonomously, what is your strategy for deploying it, governing it, and competing with those who already have? This is not a product demo. It is a conversation about the future of work.
Unlock the full potential of Oracle Fusion Cloud Performance Management by leveraging its deeply integrated AI capabilities. Kamehameha Schools (KS) partnered with Elire to create a unified reporting strategy that connects data, tools, and people across Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM. Rather than letting tools dictate design, KS built a long-term strategy focused on governance, user needs, and data accuracy. This session walks through how KS assessed their current reporting landscape, defined a future-state vision, and established a structured framework for ongoing report development, validation, and optimization. Attendees will learn how to balance tool capabilities with strategy, ensuring every report delivers value and aligns with enterprise goals. Key Takeaways: - Current-State Assessment: Evaluating existing reports, data sources, and usage to identify overlap and gaps - Future-State Vision: Defining reporting principles, governance standards, and audience-specific needs - Tool Alignment: Mapping the right Oracle tools, including Narrative Reporting, OTBI, BI Publisher, and FDI, to fit the strategy rather than drive it - Governance and Optimization: Creating a structured process for testing, validation, and ongoing improvements - User Enablement: Establishing a process for business users to submit, track, and own report requests within a governed model
Many government entity hourly employees work 9/80 schedules—an arrangement in which employees complete 80 hours of work over nine days across a two-week period, typically earning an additional day off. This schedule is widely valued in the public sector, but it introduces meaningful complexity into timekeeping and payroll processing. For these employees, the priorities are clear: they must be paid timely and accurately. Meeting that standard within Oracle Fusion Cloud Time & Labor requires careful attention to how time is captured and allocated. The complexity intensifies when elapsed 9/80 employees are paid weekly and therefore require a weekly Redwood time card. With elapsed time cards, employees simply record a quantity of hours rather than clocking in and out. While this simplifies entry, it removes the natural anchor that would otherwise indicate where the Friday hours should be allocated across the workweek boundary. The hallmark of a 9/80 schedule is the 'split Friday'—where the hours worked on Friday must be divided between two separate workweeks to preserve proper workweek integrity and overtime calculations. This presents a specific technical challenge with allocating the hours to the correct week. We will explore the challenges and key considerations when implementing a weekly Redwood time card for elapsed 980 employees.
AI is changing how work gets done. That shift is pushing organizations toward more dynamic, outcome-driven operating models and challenging HR with a new mandate: help leaders decide what should stay human-led, where AI can augment or automate execution, and how newly created capacity can be redirected toward the outcomes that matter most. Oracle is redefining human capital management for the autonomous enterprise. Discover how the latest Oracle Cloud HCM innovations help HR design and operate a human-agent workforce. Connect people, skills, roles, workforce plans, and AI-enabled execution in one adaptive model that keeps your people in the lead as work continues to evolve.
AI agents can open new ways to improve HR, but many teams are still asking the same questions: Where do we start, which problems should we solve first, and how do we move forward safely? This session offers a practical path for getting started, from choosing early use cases and building quick wins to setting the right guardrails for responsible adoption. You'll learn how human review, clear policies, secure data, and accountable workflows help organizations build confidence and prepare their workforce for AI-powered experiences.
This presentation will provide valuable insights for IT professionals and Finance administrators considering cloud migration and integration strategies. The success story of SDCCD's 5 month EPM Cloud adoption will be an inspiring case study for other institutions who are looking for streamlined budget development, position planning and consolidated reporting.
Oracle Fusion Redwood transformation is more than a user interface migration. At enterprise scale, it requires a structured approach to assessing existing personalizations and customizations, prioritizing migration activities, establishing governance, validating critical business processes, and coordinating across business, IT, implementation partners, and Oracle. This session shares practical lessons from Milwaukee Tool’s large-scale Redwood transformation, including the assessment of its Oracle Fusion SCM footprint, identification of existing personalizations and customizations, development of an adoption roadmap, and governance of the migration in collaboration with Oracle Consulting Services. The engagement itself includes Redwood assessment, adoption planning, conversion of identified personalizations and customizations, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The session will also explore how collaboration with Oracle Product Management through early-adoption programs can help organizations evaluate emerging Redwood capabilities, identify functional and user-experience gaps, and provide feedback for product improvements, with examples from Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, and Maintenance. Oracle Fusion customers, solution architects, functional leaders, and transformation teams planning or executing Redwood migrations will benefit from this session. Attendees will learn how to approach Redwood as an enterprise transformation rather than simply a UI conversion, establish effective migration governance, make informed decisions about existing customizations, and build a sustainable approach for adopting Redwood capabilities as the platform continues to evolve.
Oracle's Redwood user experience is no longer optional — but the journey from classic pages to Redwood is rarely as smooth as the roadmap slides suggest. This session shares an unfiltered, field-tested account of a Redwood adoption across Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement and CX, including what worked, what broke, and what we would do differently. We will walk through real failure scenarios encountered during procurement page migrations — functionality gaps, personalization and extensibility surprises in Visual Builder Studio, user adoption resistance, and testing blind spots — along with the mitigation strategies and change management framework that ultimately got us across the line. We will close with a practical view of Oracle's Redwood roadmap and what the upcoming release milestones mean for organizations still planning their transition. This session will benefit functional leads, ERP architects, IT program managers, and business process owners who are planning or actively executing a Redwood migration. Attendees will learn how to assess Redwood readiness module by module, which procurement and CX pain points to anticipate before go-live, how to structure a wave-based migration plan with realistic timelines, and how to prepare their roadmap for the features Oracle is delivering next. You will leave with a reusable assessment framework and a candid checklist of pitfalls to avoid.
The shift to the Oracle Redwood UI is a fundamental architectural evolution from server-heavy ADF frameworks to a decoupled, API-driven architecture. It will also highlight how to align security practices with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Participants will gain practical learning outcomes, including how to identify common security vulnerabilities, evaluate role-based access controls, and implement remediation strategies that balance risk reduction with business usability. The session will also cover tools and techniques for continuous monitoring and auditing, enabling organizations to move from reactive compliance to proactive security management. Key messages from this presentation emphasize that effective ERP/HCM security is not a one-time activity but an ongoing process requiring governance, collaboration, and the right balance between control and operational efficiency. Attendees will also learn the importance of simplifying security models, reduce excessive access, and leveraging delivered Oracle capabilities rather than over-customizing roles and controls.
This session will present Glens Falls Hospital (GFH) case study of optimizing their Oracle HCM Cloud applications. GFH needed a trusted partner to support their existing Oracle HCM Cloud Applications. They were challenged with manual work-around HR processes and inadequate support for its employee HR & benefits activities. They also needed to revamp the benefits enrollment process, on-board new benefit vendors, and implement Oracle Recruiting Cloud on HCM Cloud. Their recent benefit enrollment caused many issues, resulting in them looking to replace their existing AMS provider with a new vendor who can provide operational support and assist them functionally with the implementation of new modules and functionalities. Glens Falls Hospital utilized the Oracle HCM Cloud application, comprising Core HR, Benefits, Taleo, Compensation, Performance, and Learning Management modules in conjunction with Kronos (UKG) and ADP Payroll. A key initiative was implementing the Oracle Redwood experience for Oracle Recruiting Cloud, modernizing the end-to-end candidate journey and earning finalist recognition for the Oracle 2026 Excellence Award in Candidate Experience Excellence. SMACT Works also delivered integrations with third-party benefits providers, reconfigured Open Enrollment plans, and developed an onboarding enhancement that automated new-hire compensation and benefit conversions based on tenure and eligibility, eliminating a long-standing manual workaround and improving accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience.
This session explores how Oracle Journeys can serve as an “easy button” for everyday HR processes beyond onboarding, using real examples like tuition reimbursement, end‑of‑year appraisal preparation, and bite‑sized HR update Journeys that reduce confusion and make ownership and status transparent. It is designed for HR leaders, HRIS administrators, people managers, and HR support teams who want consistent employee guidance without over‑engineering workflows. In one compact program, attendees learn a simple mindset for applying Journeys to both complex and routine scenarios, how to spot high‑value opportunities, the essential questions to ask before building, and practical tips to start small and scale with confidence. In addition, this session will be an opportunity to attendees to share Journey successes and crowdsource for future ideas.
This presentation will cover the configuration and working of the Journey E-Signature process in Oracle Fusion HCM. It will walk attendees through the Journey E-Sign Task, Journey Setup, the associated BI Report and Data Model, the SQL used to retrieve e-signature task attributes, and the RTF template used to generate the e-signature document. The presentation will also introduce the proposed Padding option in the e-signature template to improve spacing, alignment, readability, and presentation of the signature area.
Every hiring decision is a financial decision. A delayed start date, compensation increase, or organizational change affects labor costs, budgets, and forecasts. When Finance and HR work from different definitions, reporting periods, and spreadsheets, those impacts become difficult to reconcile—and harder to act on. This session presents a practical approach to connecting Oracle Cloud Finance, HCM, and EPM around workforce planning and business performance. Using an illustrative workforce-planning scenario, we will follow the path from hiring and compensation assumptions to financial forecasts, actual results, and management reporting. Along the way, we will examine the integration decisions that matter: aligning organizational structures and cost centers, handling effective dates, establishing data ownership, and reconciling planned versus actual labor costs. We will also explore opportunities for AI-assisted variance analysis and narrative reporting, including how to evaluate data readiness and establish appropriate human review. Attendees will leave with a framework for choosing a first use case, defining meaningful success measures, and building a roadmap toward more timely, trusted decisions across Finance and HR.
