Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • Insights Focus group saw a demo from BUPA (British United Provident Association Limited) of the Insights they have created for their financial users.
  • Benefits – Discussed SECURE 2.0 Section 101, the Savings Plan Auto Enrollment and Escalation process and also a review of other roadmap items.
  • Remote Worker – Focus group answered a survey about how customers are using the Remote Worker feature and the additional enhancements that have been delivered.
  • HR HelpDesk – Focus group saw a demo and provided feedback on the Restrict Case Note Edits planned feature. In addition, the top priority enhancements for HR Helpdesk were discussed to gather feedback.
  • Absence Management – The focus group was surveyed for any ideas for enhancements that they would like to see on the upcoming roadmap. In February, the focus group met to discuss and vote on the ideas. The top ideas will be proposed for the roadmap.
  • Time and Labor – The focus group was surveyed for any ideas for enhancements that they would like to see on the roadmap. In February, the focus group met to discuss and vote on the ideas. The top ideas will be proposed for the roadmap.
  • ELM – Next month, we will be reviewing with the focus group  (April 4th) the work done so far on mandatory programs and discussing what we are delivering for notification composer uptake.
  • Onboarding – The March meeting we will be discussing preboarding and in April we will have a joint meeting with the Recruiting focus group members who are also interested in preboarding.

 ***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

  • United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617).  It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans. Here is a link to the current Position Statement and the Planned Features and Enhancement Page which outlines our current roadmap.
  • United States – IRS Announces an Administrative Transition Period for Section 603 of the SECURE 2.0 Act
  • United States – Effective January 1, 2024, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) amended to electronically submit their 2023 summary (300A) injury and illness information to OSHA by March 2, 2024.
  • United States – EEOC announced 2023 EEO-1 Reporting is from April 1 – June 4.
  • Singapore – The Budget 2024 outlines Singapore’s revenue and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year, setting forth the Government’s financial priorities and policy directions.
  • Malaysia – The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (HASiL) has released the latest formats of Forms E & EA for the tax year 2023.
  • Japan – “A new Tax Cut program has been introduced by the National Tax Agency and provided the initial guidance for the implementation of the same.
  • India – Interim Budget February 2024
  • New Zealand – The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has published the new rates for Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) Levy and Student Loan Threshold changes for the year 2024/25, effective 1st April 2024
  • United Kingdom – The Chancellor in the Spring Budget session announced that with effect from 6 April 2024, the employee’s national insurance contributions rate would be reduced from 10% to 8% for earnings above the primary threshold and below the upper earnings threshold.
