Carole Owens, Executive Director – Supply Chain at AdventHealth, was recently elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Quest Board of Directors for 2022. In this role, Carole will help guide the Quest Oracle Community strategic direction on behalf of its member community.
We asked Carole for her thoughts on this new position:
“I’m excited to assume the Vice Chair role for 2022 after serving on the Quest board for more than 6 years,” says Carole. “I’ve sent my team to Quest events for years and encourage my people to take advantage of the unique opportunities Quest provides to connect with other PeopleSoft users and product experts around the globe, as well as within the Healthcare industry. I believe in the power of this community – the incremental value we’ve gained from our PeopleSoft investments through our participation with Quest is enormous. I’m a huge fan of Quest and extremely honored to serve the greater Oracle customer community through my efforts here with the Board.”
Carole serves as the Executive Director of Supply Chain for AdventHealth, a faith‐based health care organization with 51 hospital campuses and more than 9,500 licensed beds in ten states. In this role, she leads the implementation and optimization of PeopleSoft for AdventHealth hospitals, physician offices and long-term care facilities, including all supply chain modules as well Mobile Inventory and maintenance modules from integration to warehouse management and point of use systems. She has 30 years of experience in procure to pay processes including defining and directing new shared services teams, Operations Management, data integrity and decision-making reporting analytics.
Prior to her current position, Carole served AdventHealth in progressive supply chain roles including corporate regional director for the health system. In addition to her 30 years of experience at AdventHealth, she’s also worked as a senior consultant for PeopleSoft. Carole earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems degree from St. Leo University. She is a member of the Oracle Customer Advisory Board for Supply Chain and currently serves as well as a frequent and recognized presenter at PeopleSoft events including the Healthcare Industry User Group, Quest COLLABORATE/BLUEPRINT 4D and Quest RECONNECT on topics related to efficiencies in supply chain, work centers, and automation.
