This week’s episode was all about community news, what’s happening right now across the JD Edwards ecosystem and why it matters. From newly released product updates to upcoming Quest events (and a few lighter moments along the way), this conversation was a reminder that staying connected is just as important as staying current.
Shipping Product (and Keeping Up with Change)
We kicked things off with some good news from the Oracle side of the house: new JD Edwards updates are out the door. January brought enhancements across sustainability, procurement, manufacturing, real estate management, regulatory, and tools changes along with the annual end-of-year focus on Financials and HCM, because January wouldn’t be January without 1099s and payroll year-end processing.
Quest Community News (and Your Spam Folder)
We then shifted gears to the Quest JD Edwards Community Newsletter with a friendly reminder to check your spam folder. Once rescued, there were several items worth calling out.
Game Changers – February 23–26
Game Changers is shaping up to be a full week of JD Edwards content, with each day focused on a different theme: Registration opens January 26, and the JD Edwards Team will be actively involved throughout the week. If you’re looking for focused, practical sessions without the travel, this is a great opportunity to learn and connect.
Blueprint 4D: Back to Dallas
We also talked about BLUEPRINT 4D, happening May 4–7 in Dallas. A quick heads-up that registration prices increase after January 31, so it’s worth getting on that sooner rather than later. We’ll be there! As usual, recording a live episode, connecting with customers and partners, and diving into sessions.
Enterprise Automation and What’s Next
The newsletter also resurfaced Oracle’s recent content on enterprise automation, along with a spotlight on purchase order delegation, which felt especially timely given last week’s conversation on mobile apps and PO approvals.
A Lighter Note to Wrap Things Up
We wrapped things up with a little Midwest-flavored cheesy fun, thanks to a surprisingly extensive list of events for 2026. Let’s just say there are a lot of them—enough to make anyone start mapping out road trips, calendars, and cooler space.
It was the perfect way to end an episode focused on community: familiar, a little quirky, and rooted in shared traditions.
