As public sector organizations we face unique challenges in financial management, from regulatory compliance to budget constraints and complex reporting requirements. This panel session will explore how we continually use PeopleSoft Financials to address these challenges by providing solutions for budgeting, procurement, asset management, accounts payable, financial reporting and other areas of PeopleSoft FSCM. Our Oracle Public Sector (OPS) SIG members that work at various state, city and local government agencies will discuss best practices, recent innovations, and strategies for optimizing PeopleSoft Financials to improve productivity, customer experience, and compliance. Attendees will gain insights into some on-going projects at their organizations, understand use cases, lessons learned from their implementations, and future trends of financial management in the public sector.
