Identifying expired or critical data can be easily done with a Visual Builder app. With the same app the expired data can be ended and new data can be added with a single action. This can also be done on mobile devices.
A demo will be given of a Fire Safety Certification app. In JD Edwards all Fire Safety certificates for Fire Equipment and buildings are stored with a begin, end and critical date. The app retrieves all records for which the critical date has passed or the end date lies within the next three months. If a new certificate is available it can be entered through the app by clicking the expired record and adding the new certificate information. The app will add a new record with the new information in JD Edwards.

The JD Edwards AIS Server and Orchestrator provide JDE users with a new opportunity to adopt and take advantage of new systems and solutions that breathe new life into your organization's JDE landscape.
Your challenge: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is the "business system of record" where the majority of your organization's maintenance business processes flow through. However, for the ground-level personnel—tradespeople, foremen, and others who run your operations day in and day out—there is often a love-hate relationship with JDE due to its outdated and non-streamlined interface and menu system.
Objective 1:
Demonstrate the utilization of new interface platforms to provide your planning and execution teams with an experience tailored to their needs. Leverage your existing JDE business processes without burdening your teams with endless clicks and outdated UI/UX.
Objective 2:
Demonstrate the integration of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne maintenance equipment and work orders with a Process Data Historian systems. Support your condition-based monitoring system by leveraging your JDE instance as your system of record, while keeping detailed operations equipment data outside of JDE and integrating only the necessary components. JDE Orchestrations are utilized to perform the integration.

By now you have realized the "magic" behind JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator: the fact that every orchestration is, in practice, an EnterpriseOne REST API. But REST APIs are typically "stateless." They run, do their work, and finish. What about use cases in which a process has to pause in the middle for actions, approvals, or manual steps, and then start back up again where it left off? We now have a feature called "Stateful Orchestrations" to accommodate those scenarios. And here's an added bonus: a new "While" step in Orchestrator enables you loop over a dynamic condition.
