Established JD Edwards customer, Oshkosh Defense, recently upgraded ?to EnterpriseOne 9.2. Change, Communication & Training were critical elements of supporting this long standing EOne community as they adopted the new system, processes, shed outdated spreadsheets, and optimized the new tools. A comprehensive change program, multi-channel communications network, and training through SME led workshops, eLearning and documentation made an integrated and choreographed move to the new platform. This upgrade also provided an opportunity to move away from Oracle’s User Productivity Kit (UPK) and simultaneously implement a new employee performance support tool to more effectively assist the people and the processes that make new and upgraded systems a success.
Objectives
Find out how iLearnERP partnered with Oshkosh Defense to train users in the EOne Academy on the net change of World to E1, JDE 9.2 Navigation and key tools release features.
Learn how iLearnERP supported Oshkosh Defense through the process of selecting a UPK replacement tool, and how they delivered a SME training program so that experts learned how to use the newly selected employee performance support platform.
Discover how iLearnERP analyzed project needs, completed curriculum design, and developed compelling training content in tandem with a comprehensive change program that strategically supported the capabilities necessary for successful adoption.

Facing expiring support, non-standardized processes, under-utilized functionality, and an obsolete chart of accounts and security module chart of accounts, the Alameda County Water District (ACWD) made substantial changes to their JD Edwards ERP system. The move presented not only significant technical challenges, but procedural and cultural challenges, as well. Broad organizational changes are not only demanding, but are frequently accompanied by skepticism about the likelihood of success. Due to planning and hard work, the result would be greater efficiency and cost-cutting at exactly the time ACWD would need them the most – in the middle of a drought and severe water shortage that would significantly impact revenue.
