Printpack Incorporate is a manufacturer of flexible and rigid packaging headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Printpack utilizes multiple contract manufacturers to meet our growing and diverse customer demands. One of the biggest challenges with the contract manufacturing process was the inability to effectively communicate the production data (good footage and waste) via standard email. Today, Printpack has been able to streamline the contract manufacturing process via technology and integration solutions.
The solutions have allowed better visibility and traceability to Printpack and the vendor process.
Objective 1: Provides options (internet portal and file integration) to better accommodate the vendors' production situation.
Objective 2: Provides improved material packaging and labeling (barcode/QR code) for better scannable data for inventory for the vendor.
Objective 3: Provides production accuracy by our vendor to Printpack, which allows improved three-way match/validation for payment.
This session is eligible for NASBA credit.
