From procurement flexibility to intercompany precision, these enhancements ensure organizations maximize the impact of their JD Edwards investment. 

Smarter Procurement with Standalone Check Price 

One of the most requested features—Standalone Check Price in Procurement—is now available. This capability allows users to review all applicable advanced pricing adjustments without creating a purchase order first. Buyers can test scenarios, check currency and exchange rate impacts, and make informed purchasing decisions. By eliminating guesswork and workarounds, organizations reduce errors and save time during procurement planning. 

Volume-Level Pricing for Automated Discounts 

Suppliers often reward buyers for cumulative purchases over time. With the new Volume-Level Pricing feature, JD Edwards automates this process. Instead of manually tracking order history, the system consolidates data and automatically applies discounts based on total volume thresholds. This ensures accurate, consistent pricing while reducing manual effort for purchasing teams. 

Order-Level Pricing for Total Cost Control 

Beyond individual line items, JD Edwards now supports Order-Level Pricing, enabling discounts or charges based on total order quantity, weight, or value. This enhancement allows procurement teams to capture supplier incentives, add freight charges, or calculate group-based adjustments seamlessly. The result is greater transparency and control over overall procurement costs. 

Volume-Based Buying Recommendations 

A standout addition is the Volume-Based Buying Recommendation feature. While creating purchase orders, the system automatically alerts users if adjusting the order quantity could unlock better pricing. Buyers gain visibility into tiered discounts and can instantly update orders to achieve cost savings. This proactive guidance helps procurement teams make smarter purchasing decisions in real time. 

Enhanced Sales Pricing with Exchange Rate Accuracy 

On the sales side, JD Edwards addresses a long-standing challenge with Rebate Recalculation. Previously, when recalculating rebates, the system used the current exchange rate, leading to discrepancies. The new enhancement ensures that original exchange rates from the time of order entry are retained, delivering consistency and accuracy in rebate reporting. 

Advanced Pricing for Intercompany Orders 

For global enterprises, intercompany transactions are a critical business process. JD Edwards now extends advanced pricing to intercompany orders, enabling branch plants to apply discounts or markups when transferring products internally. This ensures fairness, accuracy, and compliance in pricing between related entities, while eliminating manual adjustments.
