Enhancing ERP Testing Efficiency by Leveraging Automated Process Testing

Presented by:
Aaron Efendi, ClickLearn

Abstract:

Testing ERP systems manually during upgrades can be challenging due to the time and effort needed to thoroughly test each module, reliance on skilled staff for repetitive tasks, human errors affecting accuracy, difficulties scaling with system complexity, and potential delays in deployment due to sequential testing.

In the upcoming webinar session, we’ll demonstrate how ClickLearn Automated Process Testing functionality can address these challenges. You’ll learn to use automated tools to deliver accurate, repeatable process testing that enhances efficiency, decreases time to go-live, and saves valuable resources.

  • Set up decision forks, assets, and screen-capturing features.
  • Utilize variables and functions to customize your testing.
  • Bind multiple test scenarios together for comprehensive coverage.
  • Execute tests and efficiently report results to ensure system readiness.

Join us to discover practical strategies for streamlining your testing processes, ensuring they are efficient and accurate, ultimately saving valuable time and resources in your ERP system maintenance.

Adopt and Change: How eProcurement’s new “Bill Only” and “Bill and Replace” functionality streamlined a key business process at Sarasota Memorial Healthcare

Presented by:
Jeff Dudas, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System

Abstract:

Like many other healthcare providers, Sarasota Memorial Healthcare (SMH) has had challenges with the business process of tracking “Bill Only” and “Bill and Replace” for implant and other surgical materials where we are billed when the device is used in surgery. Over the years, we’ve developed different processes within different groups, and have developed workarounds and offline process to keep track of all the different nuances in requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, and invoicing.

With the introduction of eProcurement’s “Bill Only” and “Bill and Replace”, we worked with Oracle to understand the new process, and as a result, we’ve re-examined our business process from top to bottom to adapt, streamline, and standardize existing processes to take advantage of the new functionality. We’ll share our how our “Bill Only” and “Bill and Replace” process has changed for the better, how we’ve adapted to “bumps in the road”, and how we’ve benefited from working closely with Oracle on this key business process.

Physician CME Reimbursements

Presented by:
Pamela Pokropinski, Powers Health

Abstract:

Powers Health looked for a solution to manage employment contracts that have continuing medical education (CME) or other limits for reimbursements. When we couldn’t identify a delivered approach in our PeopleSoft HCM or FSCM system we built a few custom pages and linked the customization with the Travel & Expense module. This improvement moved us away from manual excel tracking and into an auditable system that will cap the expense reimbursements at the contract limits. We will demonstrate the custom pages and how it integrates with the expense reports.
