Title: The Path to Multicloud for Oracle DBA’s

Summary: I will discuss common DBA tasks which a DBA performs on a day-to-day basis like setting up a server, creating and configuring databases, creating users, granting access, backups and performance will explain how these steps are extended in cloud and what are additional skill they need to learn. Once we have stage ready, I will discuss Oracle-Azure Multicloud offering. I will discuss some use cases for Oracle-Azure multi cloud and at the end I will show a pathway to learn Multicloud.

Bio: Anuj is an Oracle ACE and frequent speaker at various Oracle conferences like Oracle Open World, Collaborate, Great Lakes, East Coast and local user groups. He is also a regular speaker at Northern Kentucky University (NKU). He is founder of Oracle12cSIG (IOUG) and 19cSIG@Quest. He has over 23 years of experience as Oracle DBA and is Oracle certified Exadata implementation expert. He is Oracle certified professional (OCP) for Oracle 11g and 12c and is certified in Oracle and AWS Cloud.
