EPM – What’s New and What’s Planned in Oracle Cloud Enterprise Data Management (Release 26.03)

Description:

Join us for an in-depth look at what’s new in the Oracle Cloud Enterprise Data Management (EDM) 26.03 release and what’s ahead on the roadmap. This session highlights key innovations focused on increasing author productivity through natural language-driven agentic experiences, improving governance at scale, and strengthening enterprise integrations.

We will introduce a new industry-first innovation in the form of a Change Management AI Assistant designed to enable end users to utilize natural language across the request lifecycle- ask questions about existing requests, query viewpoints, and intelligently generate request actions, including mass updates, all using plain English. You’ll also see enhancements to data visualization and usability, such as the new Chart Viewer display option within viewpoints, making it easier to analyze and interpret enterprise structures. On the integration front, we’ll cover expanded security including OAuth 2.0 support for token-based authentication for Oracle Cloud Financials application and global connections, and a brand-new Microsoft Azure Blob Storage global connection, enabling expanded support for multi-cloud, data lake targets. Governance and modeling capabilities are further strengthened with node-type–based control of shared nodes within hierarchy sets and constraint support for ‘derived and stored’ properties.

Additional enhancements include the ability to mention ‘future invitees’ in request commentspreview download templates and review import results in-file, and perform address verification during import and load requests—all aimed at improving collaboration, data quality, and operational efficiency.  Whether you’re an EDM administrator, data steward, architect or implementer, this session will provide a clear view of how EDM release 26.03 advances Oracle’s vision for trusted, AI-assisted enterprise data management—and what you can expect next.
