Case Studies: Transformation from File Based Integrations to REST/ATOM and SOAP Based Integrations
NSF International is an independent organization with employees in over 30 countries. This session is to provide our integration approach during the initial implementation of HCM Cloud applications over 26 countries. Over the time, what were the problems we faced with file-based integrations and how we re-implemented the integrations using SOAP, REST/ATOM web services. In this session, you will learn several integration mechanisms with SaaS applications and get insights on using Oracle Integration Cloud vs Custom Integration Solutions.
Objective 1: Our initial Cloud implementation approach using file based loader integrating HCM & Taleo with on-premise EBS, ADP, Active directory, on-premise custom applications and other SaaS applications
Objective 2: Problems we faced at NSF International with file based integrations and how it enabled our thought processing to re-implement our in-bound and out-bound integrations using SOAP, REST/ATOM web services
Objective 3: How Oracle Cloud SaaS applications enabled us to consume out of the box web services. Our new integration architecture along with list of fusion web-services that we consumed
Objective 4: Our options to implement the integrations, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or our own Custom Integration Solutions
Objective 5: How our new integration approach changed the future road map and opened up new opportunities for system/process improvements in analytics, chat bots and implementing Custom Applications over the SaaS components
