Joel De Guzman imagePrior to Oracle, Joel spent a few years as product marketing manager for supply chain management and ecommerce applications for another ERP company. He was also the product launch manager for their distribution ERP solutions and implemented sales content management applications. Before that, he spent more than two decades with Intel Corporation as an industrial engineer in manufacturing, program manager for supply chain management (SAP) implementations, and marketing manager for software developer relations and partner programs. Joel has a BS in Industrial Engineering, an MBA from the University of California – Davis, and a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Surya has over 20 years of experience in developing and promoting digital transformation solutions for discrete manufacturing. At Oracle, Surya leads Smart Manufacturing solution development, thought leadership, partner ecosystems, and manufacturing innovation lab showcases. Before joining Oracle, Surya worked for DMG MORI, where he contributed to various technologies such as CAD/CAM, enterprise applications, automation, asset monitoring, and Industry 4.0. He also has diverse leadership experience in software engineering, product management, business strategy, and partnerships. He has a master’s in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Davis, and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley. Surya’s current focus at Oracle is on smart manufacturing, AI for manufacturing, and connected digital innovation.
