Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • Human Resources – Focus Group reviewed and provided feedback on the new Personal and Job Data Insights
  • Insights – Group met in December to discuss interest in a Senior Leadership Insight Dashboard and more details on possible Elastic Search and PeopleSoft Insight enhancements for PeopleTools 8.62.
  • Time and Labor – The focus group met in December to discuss the design of the Configurable Time Summary feature and requirements for the Meal Waiver feature.  The Direct Reports Fluid Pages feature that was delivered in Image 47 was also reviewed.
  • Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – The focus group did not meet in December. We will resume monthly meetings in February – we will be reviewing notifications as well as looking for some feedback on the desire for xapi.
  • Questionnaire Framework – Team is reviewing enhancements for the Roadmap for 2024. We are looking to understand how customers are currently utilizing the framework in activity guides or having created their own Questionnaire Events using emails or notifications. Please email tammy.boyles@oracle.com with your current use cases or if you have use cases that are on your roadmap to be deployed.

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

  • United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617).  It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans. Here is a link to the current Position Statement and the Planned Features and Enhancement Page which outlines our current roadmap.
  • United States – IRS Announces an Administrative Transition Period for Section 603 of the SECURE 2.0 Act
  • Brazil – Updates for PeopleSoft HCM regarding items 3.1 and 3.2 of Technical Note No. 01/2023 of eSocial Simplificado were made available, the layout of which was published on December 7, 2023.
  • Singapore – The Provident and Tax (PAT) – IRAS Service has published a new version of IRAS file specifications 15.0, effective from 2024 submissions. Except for limiting the number of records to 800 per file, there are no other changes to be made. However, IRAS has extended the implementation of the new specifications till March 2024.
