With the current environment in mind, our community depends on individuals and companies that go above and beyond for others now more than ever. It seems like a fitting time to recognize those that have been distinguished contributors to our community over the past year.

Heather was awarded the Oracle Employee Distinguished Service Award, which goes to an Oracle employee who demonstrates exceptional commitment and support to the Quest community.

2020 Distinguished Service Award Winner: Heather Hagedorn

Heather Hagedorn, Oracle

Tell us a little about your company.

Oracle is a global provider of enterprise cloud computing, empowering businesses of all sizes on their journey of digital transformation. With a complete suite of integrated applications for sales, service, marketing, human resources, finance, supply chain, and manufacturing, plus highly automated and secure Generation 2 Infrastructure featuring the Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle helps customers develop strategic roadmaps and advance their journey to the cloud from any point: new cloud deployments, legacy environments, and hybrid implementations. Today, 430,000 customers in 175 countries use Oracle technologies.

What is your job title and what do you do in your role?

I am a Senior Product Strategy Manager for Oracle with over 15 years of experience with Human Capital Management solutions. I am the lead for Oracle’s online customer community, Cloud Customer Connect, for Oracle Cloud HCM.

How long have you been involved with Quest?

I have been involved with Quest for three years.

How have you benefit from being part of Quest Oracle Community?

The Quest community offers me the opportunity to connect with Oracle customers. In addition, Quest and Oracle have collaborated to bring Oracle customers together to support one another which has proven to be very successful.

What’s one interesting fact about you?

I first traveled solo when I was 22 years old. I went to Japan and lived there for a year.

Do you have any children or pets?

I am a loving wife and proud mother of two wonderful teenage daughters. My free time is spent watching my girls enjoy water sports on a nearby lake as well as attending their competitions – dance, cheer, gymnastics and acrobatics. I am also a pet parent to a 10-year-old black lab who also loves spending his free time in the water.
