Tammy Gaston, Senior IT Specialist & JD Edwards Manager at Stoner, Inc. in Quarryville PA just completed her first year of service as a member of the Quest Board of Directors.
Tammy shared, “I am excited to guide and serve the organization as a Quest Director. I have been a Quest member for over 20 years, and I get so much value from the web tools, the SIGs, the conferences, and networking.”.
At Stoner Inc., a small business in Pennsylvania that manufactures cleaners and lubricants for automotive and household brands sold around the world, Tammy manages JD Edwards, which includes project management, upgrades, development, CNC, and user support. She’s also responsible for several other software systems, which are all linked to JD Edwards in part or whole. Prior to Stoner, Tammy was the owner of two computer service companies as well as a past stint where she served as the JDE Manager for Valley Forge Flag Company. She has served in various IT capacities with Stoner for over 25 years including Network, Database, and Web Admin, Software Support, and JD Edwards Management, Upgrades, CNC and Development. She has led implementation and upgrades for many versions, through 9.2.
Before serving on the Quest Board, Tammy tirelessly promoted and supported our community and advocated on behalf of Quest in many ways. She is the Founder and Past President of the JDE Small Biz SIG and JDE Business Analyst SIG. She was a member of the Quest Knowledge Committee and is a past recipient of the Quest Customer Content Contributor Distinguished Service Award.
Tammy resides on her horse farm in Pennsylvania with her husband Bob, and they have eight grown children and 21 grandchildren. She’ll admit she’s a little horse crazy, and in her spare time you can find her riding horses, or behind a good book. Always up for a new adventure, she also enjoys traveling and volunteering in her community.
