Leveraging No-Code and Low-Code Platforms for IT Efficiency and Innovation
Presented by:
Joe Hebner, Tredger Corp/K-Rise
Abstract:
IT leaders within JD Edwards environments are under constant pressure to deliver more solutions with fewer resources, tighter timelines, and increasing integration demands. Traditional development models often struggle to keep pace, leading to growing backlogs and missed business opportunities. This Game Changers session examines how no-code and low-code platforms can be leveraged together to drive IT efficiency and enable sustained innovation.
The session focuses on a modern development model that balances responsibilities across IT and business-facing roles. Low-code capabilities allow developers to concentrate on complex logic, integrations, and technical requirements, while no-code tools empower business analysts and solution architects to independently manage workflows, front-end experiences, business rules, data validation, and JD Edwards integrations. This parallel development approach reduces dependency bottlenecks and increases delivery velocity. The session reviews best practices and key benefits of utilizing no-code/low-code development, including:
Efficiency Through Integration: Learn how combining No-Code and Low-Code Platforms for JDE applications transforms IT processes.
Empowering Teams with No-Code: See how business users create applications independently to reduce IT workloads.
Flexibility with Low-Code Tools: Explore how developers can manage complex use cases with agility and scalability.
Real-World Case Studies: Discover how IT leaders have achieved faster deployment and improved internal innovation.

Paperless Work Order and Warehouse Management: Eliminate Manual Entry & Streamline Processes through No-Code/Low-Code
Presented by:
Tera LeBourgeois, K-Rise
Abstract:
For JD Edwards manufacturers and distributors, paper-based processes and legacy scanning systems continue to create daily bottlenecks across warehouse and production operations. Printed travelers, manual workarounds, and limited real-time visibility slow execution, introduce errors, and increase operational costs.
In this session, K-Rise Systems presents a fully digital approach to Work Order Management and warehouse pick, pack, and ship operations built on the EASYProcess No-Code / Low-Code platform and natively integrated with JD Edwards. These mobile-first applications eliminate printed pick slips, manual logs, and standalone scanning systems, enabling teams to execute sales orders and work orders faster while maintaining full traceability and control.
Key capabilities demonstrated include:
Role-based dashboards for operators, pickers, packers, and supervisors
Multi-order picking grids to streamline bulk order handling and reduce clicks
Work order picking and parent and child package staging with real-time tracking
Barcode-validated workflows to enforce accuracy and compliance
Commenting, attachments, and digital scratch pads to replace manual shift notes

From Guesswork to Governance: Prinova’s Security Journey
Presented by:
Dr. Frosoulla Kofterou, ALLOut
Melanee Melia, Prinova NAGASE Group
Abstract:
A sustainable security and compliance model depends on visibility and confidence. For Prinova, that meant moving from reactive security management to taking control directly within JD Edwards.
This session explores Prinova’s journey from quick wins to complex security transformation after transitioning to ALLOut. Immediate results included cleaning up inactive users by 50% as well as clarity around roles, hierarchies, audits, and Segregation of Duties. Problem areas that had previously felt like guesswork.
The focus shifted from copying accumulated access to “What is your job and what are you going to need access to?” Establishing a ‘god-like’ CPR Finance role and dividing it into AP, AR, and operational roles built trust and buy-in across the team for change control projects.
Developing a controlled, repeatable process for testing and promoting security changes was the turning point. By verifying access in advance with ALLOut, the team eliminated outages and delivered visibility, accountability, and confidence, while optimizing turnaround times.
Join Prinova as they share their journey on achieving immediate impact and sustained success by moving security ownership fully in-house without disrupting operations.

AP Invoice Automation: Robust E1 Integration Paired with OCR-as-a-Service and GenerativeAI – The Perfect Combination for Maximum Automation
Presented by:
Tera LeBourgeois, K-Rise
Abstract:
Manual invoice processing often relies on repetitive data entry, rigid templates, and manual exception handling, slowing the Accounts Payable cycle and increasing the risk of errors. As invoice volumes grow and vendor variability increases, traditional AP automation approaches struggle to scale.
In this session, K-Rise Systems presents a practical overview of modern AP Automation built on the EASYProcess No-Code/Low-Code Platform with native JD Edwards integration. Attendees will see how OCR-based invoice capture, configurable workflows, and real-time E1 integration streamline the full invoice lifecycle from capture through voucher entry, approval, and payment.
The session also introduces the latest EASYProcess advancements powered by GenerativeAI. Rather than relying solely on pre-built templates or custom scripts, organizations can now define validation logic, exception handling, and vendor-specific rules using natural language prompts—making AP automation more adaptable, consistent, and easier to maintain.
In this session we will discuss:
Invoice data capture using AWS Textract AI to process PDFs, scanned images, and handwritten documents without position-based templates
Data validation and matching for voucher entry, 2-way and 3-way PO matching, and tolerance handling for freight, core charges, and other variables
Workflow automation for approvals, notifications, escalations, and exception management. All configured without code
GenerativeAI-driven vendor-specific rules and corrections consistently across invoices
Audit and recordkeeping with scanned invoices stored as media attachments directly in JD Edwards
A live demonstration will showcase both established AP automation capabilities and new GenerativeAI features using real-world invoice scenarios. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how modern AP Automation can reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and deliver more flexible, future-ready workflows within JD Edwards.
