Day 1: PeopleTools Upgrades – Monday’s program is designed for customers who have recently upgraded to PeopleTools 8.59 or are making plans for 8.60 — innovations, best practices and lessons learned

Day 2: Lifecycle Management/Selective Adoption – a broad program designed to cover both maintenance and getting current. Content could address how to manage your PeopleSoft lifecycle (the process of applying fixes, features, Tools upgrades, etc.) or the more strategic approach to staying current (strategy, resource alignment, feature selection, etc) for both the technical and business audience. This day provides a natural tie-in to PSFT on OCI as an accelerator for Lifecycle Management.

Day 3: Configuration – a popular topic for PeopleSoft customers, this program covers a range of topics including Configuration vs Customization, new configuration features in 8.60 or recent success stories from 8.59 features, PeopleSoft Configuration Manager, PeopleSoft Test Framework, Configurable Search, etc.

Day 4: Kibana – Thursday’s program showcases how customers are driving innovation and efficiency through Kibana analytics. Possible topics could include dashboards, elasticsearch, data visualization and integrations.

Day 5: Fluid User Experience – a broad program designed to cover a range of topics, potentially including how customers are developing Fluid applications, using the PeopleSoft Fluid interface, using Delivered Fluid Pages or implementing Classic Plus.

Cut the risk with proven, repeatable testing and balancing of two payrolls

Abstract:

PayMatch® automates the testing and balancing of two payrolls by comparing paycheck data across 11 categories like earnings, deductions & taxes any time there is a change between baseline and updated payroll. It reduces testing time by over 90% and is especially useful during tax updates, patches, upgrades, conversions from 3rd party payroll providers, company mergers etc. to make sure they don’t negatively impact payroll. It also provides a sanity check for period over period payroll audits (e.g. fat fingering) or to reduce fraud.

During conversions, PayMatch® helps map, test and convert payroll data from one ERP to another with ease (e.g. PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud or SAP to Oracle Cloud). It is database independent and has no impact on payroll systems or data. PayMatch® was launched as a product in 1998 and it is an Oracle Validated Integration.

Case Study: How did Daytona State College (DSC) use PTF scripts for system validation?

Join us to learn about how Daytona State College (DSC) uses PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) scripts for system validation.

After a system refresh or update, customers must spend considerable amount of time validating whether the basic system functionality (such as Ping test, COBOL process, SQR process, log in/log out) works. This validation usually involves someone logging into the system and manually checking each of the functionality. But now with DSC has automated the validation of system post-refresh or post-update – one click results in a summarized report at the end of testing.

Saad and Sneha will walk users through how PTF scripts are used to automate system validation and will be available to answer questions after their presentation and brief demo.
