The PSFT Connection: Episode 8 – PeopleTools 8.62 & new Landing Page with Sasank Vemana

Hosted by Brooke Repine and Stephen Valentine

Dear PeopleSoft Friends-

In this month’s episode, our conversation centers on one of the most talked-about releases in the PeopleSoft ecosystem: PeopleTools 8.62, including the new Landing Page. As PeopleSoft continues to evolve, PeopleTools 8.62 represents a major step forward in delivering a more modern and intuitive user experience.

We had the priviledge of discussing this exciting release with PeopleSoft expert Sasank Vemana, Director of PeopleSoft Technology Strategy at Oracle.

During this episode, we explored several key features of the new Landing Page, including the unified user experience – a move away from multiple homepages to a single, scrollable, cohesive landing page. We also discussed dynamic sections, where content can change based on user roles, recent actions, or system-driven notifications.

Did you know Oracle provides ready-to-use examples and a Landing Page Modeler to help you get started?

We also talked about the Customization Insights dashboard in PeopleTools 8.62, which can help organizations identify customizations that are costly to maintain, determine whether they are actually being used, and decide which ones may be candidates for retirement.

We learned so much from Sasank, and this episode is packed with valuable insights. We can’t wait for you to listen! While you’re tuning in, be sure to check out the PeopleSoft Landing Page website that Sasank shared as a key resource—it includes highlight videos and helpful getting-started materials.

Happy listening!
